Musing the Queer Beginning
I really didn't know how to start... so I'll start at the beginning....
Once upon a time, Divine Feminine and Masculine lived in peace with one another. Living in harmony with the natural world and in community. Respectfully they shared duties and responsibilities.
Until Darkness crept across the land. Harsh winters created food shortages and illness. Rippling worry and fear into the heart of the Divine Feminine and Masculine. Leaders stepped forward reminding the community the importance of harmony, balance, and love. Yet, the Darkness was powerful, it corrupted the leaders with fear, forging a great divide.
Divine Feminine and Masculine lost their compassion, respect, and love towards each other and the natural world. Greed, power, and ego ran unchecked, as a wall of disconnection formed around them. The Light was losing.
Fearing for their Divine Children and the land, Father Sky and Mother Earth called upon their Sister Moon for help. They asked her to send her Star Children to restore balance, Light, and harmony across the land.
Sister Moon knew the Darkness her children would face so she asked for volunteers. “Who would go to the Earth, to forge a bridge of harmony between Divine Masculine and Feminine? To help them remember the Light. As well as the gifts they offer each other and the land.”
Two stepped forward. “We will go.”
Then the first two Hayamoni were born.
Who are the Hayamoni
We in the LGBTQ+ community go by many names today, but at our roots we are Hayamoni. The Two Spirit, the ones that hold Divine Masculine, Feminine and Queer. We are the Star Children of the Moon, Mother Weaver. We are sacred volunteers here to serve. Space holders of the in-between. The bridges between Summer and Winter, Earth and Sky, Masculine and Feminine and more.
Tasked with the sacred mission to show men that being soft isn’t weak and to show women how strong they can be. We hold the third perspective, a third option, a third way. A different way.
Yet, we bring to this Earth generations of queer trauma. Trauma from the queers that came before and the traumas to come. Overwhelmed and isolated we forget our sacred mission. Some queers even fight amongst each other. Some casting judgement on each other. Believing that others don’t belong, aren’t queer enough, or are too passing. While there are some that turn a blind eye to crimes and injustices happening to the queer community.
Many forgetting that we all come from the same family. That we are all Mother Weaver’s children. That we are here for each other just as much as we are for the men and the women.
Divine Queer Divide
I received the story above from a spiritual community. They shared stories and wisdom teachings of Divine Masculine, Feminine AND the Hayamoni.
I wanted to learn about the sacred duties of the queer, so I joined the Hayamoni circle. I was excited to be learning with all genders as one. Afterall, that’s what I understood Hayamoni to mean.
One group of Divine Beings.
Yet, some members in this circle desired to have separate names and circle gathering based on gender identity. A debate unfolded over whether or not there was a difference of duties based the gender. We couldn’t end the debate because there was only a hair difference in the roles, energy, and responsibilities of the Divine Queer that came down to gender.
Hayamoni’s members wanted us to be able understand how our gender identity factored into our Hayamoni nature. Which seemed unnecessary as we were already participating in the men and women circles. We had an avenue to learn about our Divine Masculine or Feminine factor.
Through women’s circles I learned that a lot of teachings resonate with me, but that there was something missing. I learned that some teachings made me feel like I was overstepping, that I didn’t belong there because I am a Divine Queer too. And I’m still learning what that means.
We will learn more about our sacred teachings, if we explore our sacred nature together, as one group. Seeing each other’s being or essence instead of this world’s constructs and vessels. To do this we in the queer community must heal the divide created by the masculine and feminine. We must understand that each and every one of us belong to one sacred group, one family.
I feel our Trans, Nondairy, and Genderfluid family members play a HUGE part of that healing….
The Darkness Fears the united Queer
Regardless of our traumas and disconnection there are amazing things happening because we simply exist:
We break constructs and conditioning.
We show the Divine Masculine and Feminine new perspectives on love, life, family, and success.
We’re blurring gender roles and definitions.
We create compassionate loving communities.
We create inclusion, equality, and safety.
We protect those that need protecting.
We don’t ask permission. We just do what we need to, to be full of love, and life.
Planting seeds that the Divine Masculine and Feminine that they can the same.
It’s for reasons like these the Darkness fears us. Especially as we continue to unite, heal, and rediscover our divine gifts.
The Darkness whispers into the ears of the powers at be, “Don’t them unite. Keep them divided, keep them separate. Make them feel alone and powerless.”
I say they can try… they can fear us, deny our existence and our history, but they cannot erase us or the effect we have on this world.
We are Light and Glitter. Here to restore Harmony, Balance, and Light.
We not chosen family. WE ARE FAMILY.
And our family has some work to do.
These are small pieces to a bigger puzzle, but dots started connecting and a flicker of remembering started for me. I plan to reflect on and explore more topics like this going forward on Uncloaked Authenticity. I hope you’ll join me.
Are there topics you want to know or explore about being a Divine Queer? Please reach out to me in a private message or in the comments. I don’t know it all but I’m happy to Muse on it.
If you want to share some joy with me… a cup of tea always brings a smile to my face. - thank you!
